Dr Keyttia Beovides

I am Keyttia Beovides, general dentist and founder of MiraMar Family Dental. I am Cuban, a mother of three, and I loved the career of dentistry since my childhood in that beautiful Caribbean island.
Since then, my goal was to study and practice dentistry to help patients feel more confident with their smile, but above all to teach them the importance of maintaining good oral health. That is how I learned and that is how I practice it in my day-to-day work with each of my patients.

I graduated as a dentist from the Institute of Medical Sciences in Havana in 2003.
I arrived in the United States in January 2010. By then, I had practiced dentistry in Cuba and Venezuela and had learned more about the patients and their needs.

In 2014 I was accepted into the International Program for Dentists at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. There I trained with the most prestigious instructors. I received my DMD degree and became a General Dentist, licensed in the State of Texas in 2016. Since then my main professional focus has been to serve a growing community of patients from Houston, and in particular from Katy and Cypress areas.

In my free time I enjoy cooking and spending time with my family. I love being surrounded by friends and energetic people. Helping patients who need dental care and alleviating their pain or concerns is one of the most rewarding results I get from dentistry.
