Persistent pain, especially pain that wakes you at night or doesn’t respond to over-the-counter medication, usually signals deep decay or an infected nerve. We locate the source with a digital X-ray during the same visit and relieve the pain before deciding on definitive treatment.
A swollen gum, cheek, or jaw with a bad taste or fever is an active infection that can spread. This is the most urgent category we treat: we drain the infection, prescribe antibiotics when indicated, and plan the root canal or extraction needed to resolve it.
An open or unprotected tooth is painful to cold and vulnerable to fracture. In most cases the restoration can be re-cemented or replaced in a single appointment, avoiding a much larger repair down the road.
Pain that intensifies three to five days after an extraction often means a dry socket. It is usually treated in a short visit with a medicated dressing; you do not have to wait it out.
Bleeding that doesn’t stop after 10–15 minutes of gentle pressure, or a cut to the lip, tongue, or gum from a fall or sports injury, needs to be examined and, when necessary, sutured to heal cleanly.
Fractures range from cosmetic chips to breaks that expose the nerve. We assess the depth, smooth or rebuild the tooth with a filling or crown, and protect the pulp so you don’t lose the tooth later.

The cost of treatment depends on what we find, and we give it to you in writing before we start. Financing is available with CareCredit or Sunbit. We are out-of-network with all insurance plans: our prices apply with or without insurance, and we provide the documentation for you to file with your insurer.

We see dental emergencies Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We are closed Wednesday and Sunday. Please call first so we can have a room ready for you.
